Cristine took up back-country backpacking at the age of 52. Her years as a stay-at-home mom and home educator behind her, she decided she had new mountains to climb, new places to explore. She wanted time and space to find restoration. Cristine and her ULA Circuit pack have since found adventure, and restoration, in the oak-shaded, pine-scented woods and cool waters of the Superior Hiking Trail in Minnesota’s North Country.
